Kushiyaki is a Japanese kebab. Any sort of chicken, beef, pork, fish, seafood or vegetables can be cut into pieces, skewered, and grilled or deep-fried.
The Kushiyaki which is grilled on charcoal fire is known to be delicious.
The traditional Kushiyaki consists only of various chicken parts and vegetables and is called Yakitori.
Kushiyaki is typically served with salt or tare sauce, which is made up of mirin, sweet sake, soy sauce and sugar. The sauce is applied on the skewered meat and it is grilled until delicately cooked.
